About

Turbowave

Mixing equal parts Moog to Marshall, Dual Analog creates "turbowave;" an extraordinarily unique blend of retro inspired new wave and heavy metal with elements of industrial and world music.

Their debut album, "Lust, Worship, and Desire," enrobes itself in lush, sexy vocals backed up with catchy bass grooves and smooth hooks, all under a veneer of crushing heavy metal guitar riffs and polyrhythmic drum grooves.

“The album is a retro dreamscape journey with a fascinating dark twist and a hint of Asia. ”

— Lyrically Speaking

“The vocals are dark, clear, and melodic. Rich and often smooth layered textures of electronic sounds are ever present, with world music elements used to add flavor, elegance, and a slight exotic swagger to the proceedings.”

— The Viking in the Wilderness

“The album really pushes so many genres on you but all flows together in a melodic and perfect way. Vocals are excellent, clear and full of feeling that matches the moods of the songs. If you are a creature of 80’s Depeche Mode and, dare I say, the vocals of Simon le Bon crossed with Dave Gahan, then you will love this album.” - VK Mike

— VK Online Music news - Darker Side of Music

“The echoes and haunting progressions give the music a sense of seriousness that pulls the listener into a world outside of their own – almost like a soundtrack for a movie you create in your own mind. Asian influences throughout the experience provide a way to fuse elements together in gold highlights and haunting chords. The result is Eighties Revivalist, with better technology and fabric!” - Kurt Clark
